Production steps of cylinder liner in Toos Alem

To produce a cylinder liner, different steps must be carefully carried out from checking the quality of raw materials to controlling the final quality so that the final product with the highest quality grade is available to the customers. The production process of this product includes: casting, machining, boring, grinding, honing, quality control, laser engraving, packaging and shipping, which we mention below.
Casting/melting stage:
The casting stage is one of the most difficult stages in the production of cylinder liner, during which the primary alloy (cast iron) is poured into the furnace until it turns into a melting temperature and a molten state. Then the molten material is poured from the furnaces into special molds and shaped by a centrifuge to form a cylinder. After cooling, they will be separated from the molds and ready for the next steps.
Machining stage:
Toos Alem has improved the production process by using CNC and SPM machines and devices in its production lines. The working process of these devices is such that a pre-programmed computer software plans and checks the movement of the device and its tools. This device is used for 3D cuts in liners. which includes steps: turning, boring, honing, etc. During these processes, the inner and outer surfaces of the cylinder liner are flattened and polished.
Quality control step:
One of the most important steps in the production of cylinder liner is that it examines the quality of construction and the dimensions and sizes of each cylinder liner. In this step, the cylinder liner is controlled and checked by instruments such as calipers, micrometers, watches and gauges. And after obtaining the necessary approvals from the control and quality unit, it will be ready for the final stages.
Laser engraving:
Laser engraving is done by a device based on laser engraving on metal surfaces. At this stage, the technical specifications or product brand will be recorded on the liners according to the choice of the company.
Packaging and shipping:
The final production stage is the packaging stage. Packaging may be in the form of pallets or cartons. In addition to manufacturing quality and high precision in the machining process, Toos Alem attaches great importance to the way of packing and shipping.
